Will I always get cystitis after sex?

Hi,
I had sex for the first time a few days ago. 24 hours after this I started getting symptons of cystitis, and its stuck for a few days. Ive been drinking loads of fluids and its starting to subside.
But I was just wondering if this will happen everytime I have sex or if its only happened as it was my first time.
Any answers or advice would be much appreciated

Was it unprotected sex, if so you've probably caught something from your partner. Also was he clean. If he hadn't washed recently stale urine, or possibly fecal matter could have been transfered to your urethral opening ( wear you pee from ) . Girls get many more infections there as one of the few advantages men have biologically is that their weeing mechanism is more efficient until they hit old age. I suggest you get yourself checked by a doctor and ask your partner to have a bit of a wash.
