Girls or Guys opinions..does he like me?? How to tell a guy likes a girl after first date sex?

We met and seem to hit it off. We started to email each other than he gave me his phone number and told me to shoot him a text to coordinate a time to get together. I waited a few days to contact him and he seemed happy that I did. We got together for dinner and some drinks. Found out that he is the type who likes to open doors for the girl :) Had an awesome night but we both had a lot to drink. Ended back at his place and had sex. He cuddled after sex. Kissed my forehead multiple times throughout the night when he thought I was asleep. Next morning we joked around and laughed. He took me back to my car....we kissed and hugged. He texted me the next day to see how I was doing. Have yet to hear from him today. Do you think he is waiting to see if I will text him first or what? Do guys ever test the waters with girls to see if they will initiate contact? Or do you think he has moved on? Can he still respect me after a drunken night of sex? It does take two...even if we were both not in the best minds to make a good judgment call lol! Will it be clingy of me to text him after we talked two days ago???
