Question by kp: What treatments are available for vulvodynia? How do you lead a normal sex life with this condition?
I am in my mid 20s and have been suffering with this for almost a year. Not only is the daily pain unbearable, but it has basically stopped my sex life. I am newly-wed and while my husband is supportive, this condition is upsetting for both of us. We'd like to have a family, but sex is impossible.
How can I treat this?
How can I have sex without the excruciating pain?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I can totally relate with what you are going through. I visited my gynaecologist yesterday and he has prescribed me with anti-depressants (I was a bit concerned when he mentioned the words anti-depressants) but in a low dosage they are used to treat neuropathic pain. He says that this is the most successful treatment. Fingers crossed this will provide help and relieve the pain.
