Can a sex offender have a picture of their children in jail?

My sons bio father is in jail can he receive pictures of his son. His current girlfriend is asking for pictures and I would rather give them directly to him then a woman I don't know.

Call the jail administration and ask them if they allow inmates to have pictures. If so, inquire about the necessary procedure to get them to him.
